This is an exciting year. I always enjoy an election year and this one is especially important. I can't say that my candidate made it as far as I wish he would have, but I still feel a strong need to support my party's candidate. There are so many things at stake in this election. Our country is struggeling with many problems that haven't faced us for many years. We need to make sure we put a person in the White House that will have the ability to get us through some rough times.

I don't want to tell people how to vote. I just want people to become informed on the politics in our nation, and locally as well. Watch the debates, both nationally and locally. Read the paper and other printed material. Follow the issues on T.V. and on the radio. Do whatever you can to get informed.

Unfortunitely, being informed isn't enough. We need to get out and vote and make sure our voice is heard. Regardless of what your political affiliation is, let's make sure we go into the next four years with our eyes wide open, knowing the direction in wich our country is heading.

Our nation is still the greatest nation in the world. All of us need to do whatever we can to keep it that way.
