The Glory of God is Intelligence

From the moment of our birth we are always learning. Life itself is a learning experience. As a small child we hold someones hand and learn as we are led through life's experiences. We put total faith and trust in others to teach us what is best for us.
As we grow and develop we break away from our total reliance on others and try to find out who we are and what we want to become. Our formal education is a big part of this process. Whether it be a home school experience, a one room schoolhouse, or a large metropolitan high school, our formal education prepares us for rest of life's challenges.

Colleges and Universities help us prepare for the business world and can continue to give us additional benefits throughout our lives. You read all the time about the grandparent who, in their later life, goes back and completes their education. We are never too old to stop learning.
Night classes and continuing education classes can be a great way to brush up on old skills, or maybe pick up a new hobbie or field of interest. Sometimes just the social aspect of education is a determining factor.
In addition to furthering our education through formal schooling, we can continue learning by reading, attending wholesome cultural events, visiting museums and historic sites, and observing the world around us.
